Every tag on POLEMAD means one specific thing, so a search returns what you actually asked for. Studios pick their own tags — these definitions are what they’re agreeing to.

Classes

Spin
Spinning-pole technique taught as a distinct class or focus
Static
Static-pole technique taught as a distinct class or focus
Flying pole
Dynamic spinning-pole work — momentum-driven drops, swings and big airborne combos
Exotic
Heels-based floorwork and spins, sensual movement focus
Heels
Classes taught in heels — for heels-only choreo or flow, separate from exotic
Skrippa
Club-rooted stripper style — the tricks, transitions and attitude the style came from
Contemporary
Lyrical, expressive pole with dance-technique emphasis
Floorwork
Floor-based movement taught as its own class, not as a warm-up
Base work
Movement at the base of the pole — low flow, drops, transitions in and out of the floor
Flexibility
A dedicated flexibility or splits class, not stretching at the end of pole
Conditioning
Dedicated strength or pole-specific conditioning class
Choreo / flow
Linking moves into a set routine — combos and transitions danced as one sequence, not drilled in isolation
