How a studio gets on the map

Found via Google Places. We index studios through the Google Places API plus community maps and public spreadsheets — name, address and links only.

Checked before listing. A combination of human review and automated checks confirms links and addresses are valid before a studio appears on the map.

Listed as unverified. The page shows basic public info and is clearly markedUnverifieduntil the owner confirms its info is up to date.

Claimed and verified. The owner proves they run the studio (email or Instagram), then adds photos, contact info and their story. The page earns aVerifiedmark.
Why it matters
Travelers use POLEMAD to find a pole studio in a new city — often within days of arriving. A verified badge tells them the schedule, photos and contact details come from the studio itself, not just public sources.
